Karen meets with Arlene Dickinson from Dragon’s Den at The mSummit event

Last week, Karen attended mSummit held by Reinventing M Network. mSummit connects working moms with inspiration, education and solutions for balancing career and family. Karen was honoured to get a chance to listen to Arlene’s keynote, take part in her book signing (included receiving an autographed copy of her book alongside partaking in the Media Q&A). Arlene Dickinson is from the hit TV show Dragons Den and owner of Venture Communications one of Canada’s largest independent marketing and communications firms. Arlene’s story to success was truly inspirational, especially the part about her doing trades work like tiling, painting, etc.. while she was pregnant. I can’t imagine myself doing that while pregnant, but I guess you have to do what you have to do when push comes to shove. Photos are below:
